Naviance Curriculum Grades 9-12
As part of their essential roles and responsibilities, the school counseling department is here to help scholars identify their abilities and strengths, align their future goals with a defined pathway beyond high school, and develop and refine valuable transferable skills needed for success.
Haverhill High School’s counseling department has worked with Naviance to offer FREE access to Naviance’s College, Career and Life Readiness Curriculum for grades 9-12.
The College, Career, and Life Readiness lessons cover several main topic areas and are designed to guide scholars at each grade level through the steps they need to be ready for life after high school.
• Self Discovery
• Self-discovery lesson help scholars understand their strengths and interests and connect them with future goals
• Success Skills
• These lessons are designed to equip scholars with the interpersonal skills needed to be
successful in school and/or the workplace
• Support Network
• Support network lessons allow scholars to identify those people who are available to help them succeed
• Career Planning
• These activities help scholars explore the careers that align with their strengths and interests
• College Planning
• College planning lessons help scholars identify their college fit and match and walks them through the college planning process
• Financial Planning
• These activities help scholars understand concepts related to budgeting, income, paying for college, and financial aid
